Terms

A portfolio has little to govern, so this is short. It says what you may do with what is here, and what is not being promised.

What this site is

A record of work by Robin G. Thapa, published so that sponsors, clients and employers can see it. It sells nothing, takes no payment and holds no account you can register for.

What is yours and what is mine

The writing, the design and the screenshots on this site are mine. Read them, link to them, and quote them with attribution. Do not republish a project write-up as your own, and do not present this work as yours in a portfolio, an application or a proposal.

Source code is a separate matter: each project’s repository carries its own licence, and that licence governs the code regardless of anything on this page. Client work shown here is published with the client’s agreement and remains theirs.

The invite-only area

Some work cannot be public. An access code is issued to a person, for a purpose, and it is not transferable — sharing one is the one thing that will get it revoked. What is behind it is confidential: do not screenshot it, forward it or repeat its contents. A code can be withdrawn at any time, and nothing here entitles anyone to one.

Messages you send

Send an enquiry and I will read it and reply. That is the whole undertaking: a message is not a contract, a reply is not an offer, and nothing agreed by email binds either of us until it is written down and signed. Please do not send credentials, personal data belonging to someone else, or anything you are under an obligation to keep confidential — the form is not the place for it.

What is not promised

The site is provided as it is. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I do not guarantee either — descriptions of past work are summaries, not specifications, and a project’s state may have moved on since it was written. Links to other sites are not endorsements of them.

Nothing here is professional advice, and nothing on it should be relied on as the basis for a decision without asking me first.

Questions

Anything here that is unclear, or that you think is wrong, is worth telling me about — the contact page reaches me directly.
